Module 1 Overview: Introduction to Horses
Welcome to Module 1 of the Compel’R Horsemanship Program, an exciting beginner-level journey designed to introduce students to the wonderful world of horses through interactive, sensory-friendly, and hands-on learning experiences. This foundational module helps children build confidence, emotional connection, curiosity, and respect for horses while developing important life skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Throughout this four-week course, students will explore the basics of horse communication, movement, anatomy, and care while learning how horses interact with people and the world around them. Each lesson is designed to support different learning styles through visual instruction, printable activities, movement-based exercises, and creative projects that encourage imagination and self-expression.

- The basic body parts of a horse and their functions
- Horse homes, habits, and daily routines
